offer these touring exhibitions
|
| 1.
Czech Puppet Theatre – Past and Present (a small exhibition,
requiring about 60 square metres, with its own stands). It
contains traditional Czech marionettes made by folk carvers,
examples of large-scale production of puppets for club theatres,
puppets of the Puppet Theatre of Periferal Settlements in
Pilsen (a significant amateur puppet theatre) which represents
club theatres of higher artistic standards, and contemporary
puppets from professional puppet theatres of the last 30 years
or so. The display is complete with stage sets and posters
from professional puppet theatres.

exhibition, requiring about 90 square metres, with its own
stands). It contains traditional Czech marionettes made by
folk puppeteers, examples of contemporary puppets from professional
puppet theatres. The display is complete with stage sets and
posters from folk puppeteers and posters from contemporary

3.
Czech Puppet Theatre – Past and Present (-a large-size
exhibition requiring space of up to 120 square metres, with
its own stands). Traditional marionettes of Czech folk puppeteers,
examples of large-scale puppet production for club and family
theatres in the first half of the 20th century, puppets
from the Puppet Theatre of Periferal Settlements in Pilsen,
contemporary work of both – professional and amateur puppet
theatres. It includes historic posters and posters of contemporary

| 4.Foreign
Puppets from the Collection of the Museum of Puppets from
the Collection of the Museum of Puppets (requiring space
of about 60 square metres, with its own stands). It includes
examples of puppets from all over the world – the former Eastern
block, Asia, Western Europe as well as overseas. There are
also posters from foreign puppet theatres from the second

5.
Czech Family Puppet Theatre (requiring space of up to
100 square metres, with its own stands).It includes a selection
of puppets for family theatres from the period between the
end of the 19th century to mid-20th century, examples of
structures of family theatres with stage sets and stage
elements designed for family theatre. Photogallery

Czech and Foreign Toys (from Museum Collection) requiring
space of 50 square metres, without stands). It includes a
selection of exhibits ranging from Czech historical toys to
contemporary production, examples of toys from other European
countries, Asia and the USA.Photogallery |

Heads for Czech Puppets (requiring
space of 40 square metres, without stands). It includes a
heads for historical marionettes, puppets for club and family
theatres, glove puppets and rod puppets used until mid-20th
century. Examples of original carving, large-scale production
and prototypes based on the designs of foremost designers

Contemporary Czech Puppet Theatre (requiring
space of 90 square metres, with its own stands). It includes
examples of staging shows in contemporary Czech professional
and amateur puppet theatres and posters. Photogallery |

and Puppets (requiring space of 30 square metres, with
its own stands).It includes examples of visual art in modern
children puppet theatre based on creative dramatic education
as provided by Hana Budínská, Milada Mašatová and Jiří Oudes.Photogallery |

10.
Puppets of Jaroslav Koloděj (requiring
space of 40 square metres, without stands). Contemporary
marionettes carved by wood-carver Jaroslav Koloděj living
in Senice near Poděbrady. He carves puppets for amateur
puppet companies and for sale. The core of the exhibition
are puppets from our collections plus some puppets from
the designer himself. (Today the exhibition contains about

11.
Additional Exhibitions: Puppets of Pavel Mašek and arts
and crafts co-operative in Únanov. Works
of graphic art inspired by puppetry. Puppetry motifs on
stamps and badges (furnished with passe-partouts, frames

Technical
and financial requirements and precautions:
- for
exhibitions without stands (toys and heads) - display cases
or cabinets with glass, either of a table type or to be put
on walls
- for
flat exhibits – possibility to place them under glass and hanging
them on walls
- illumination
- appropriate
guarding during transport and exhibition period and insurance
(at least for transport)
- paid-for
transport for exhibits and related required material by van
or truck
- reimbursement
of travelling and subsistence expenses for 2-4 people who will
install and remove the exhibition
- providing
and defraying accommodation for these people for 2-4 nights
for the installation and 1-2 nights for the removal of the exhibition
- advertisement:
the Museum of Puppets may provide necessary data for advertisement
purposes; two copies of any advertisement material will be given
to the Museum archives
- the
Museum of Puppets may provide blank posters for advertisement
purposes –16.-Kč a piece
