On Wednesday, September 22th, from 6 pm, Chrudim will host the traditional Night of Literature. Actresses Tereza Nekudová and Kristýna Kudrnáčová will read excerpts from modern Czech translations of European literature at the event co-organized by the Chrudim Municipal Library and the Chrudim Puppetry Museum. The Night of Literature, which takes place in more than 70 cities in the Czech Republic, annually introduces contemporary European literature to the public in a non-traditional way through a series of public readings by well-known or interesting personalities from the cultural field. The reading is connected with other programs such as concerts or theater performances and takes place in unusual, spectator-attractive places.
