Closed: 1. 1. (New Year), Easter Monday, 24.–26. 12. (Christmas holidays) and 31. 12. (New Year's Eve)
Entry to the museum is free on the following days: World Puppetry Day (March 21), International Museum Day (May 18), Museum Night, May 26, Sept. 28, Oct. 28, and European Heritage Days.
We do not accept group visits (tour groups, schools, etc.) on these days. Thank you for understanding.

Where to find us

We are located in the center of the historic city of Chrudim, a few meters from the central Ressel Square. Chrudim is located in the Pardubice region and has about 25,000 inhabitants. The nearest cities are Pardubice (12 km), Čáslav (32 km), Hlinsko (28 km), and Vysoké Mýto (30 km). Chrudim can be reached by car, train, and bus.
